What rubbish toking he?

Recently, have identified RGS (regulation of G- Protein signalling proteins) proteins – bind to and modulate activity of G-proteins. (e.g. Can accelerate GTPase in a-subunit to cause form of G-protein desensitisation). RGS12 binds to consequences sequence TXV/L 9expressed in CRH receptor) and has Goloco domain (vertebrate homologue of loco protein in Drosophilia) that acts as an inhibitor od guanine nucleotide dissociation and so could impeed CRH action. Some RGS proteins can intercat with b-subunit and subsitute for g-protein g-subunit. Roles of RGS in endocrine signalling yet to be elucidated.
