A Comedy, A Tragedy and A Mama Drama
  corner

There is nothing that can resist change, There are no stories that will not end, Even though its hard to acknowledge that, But this is the reality. The ending of a season, Is the begining of a new one.

What a Huge Change!!!!

My interface for blogger had totally changed! I thought I had gone onto the wrong site!

Havent been updating because was really busy for the past week. Managed a 14.5 hr day and a 15 hr day. Dint realise that the rumor that research students live in their labs was actually true once you get started on your project.

Anyways, nothing much to update about. There is peace in the office... at least for me as there is now a new common public "enemy" so I am no longer one of the targets of the mean remarks..... Quite happy with that...

Daily life in lab is so boring so i guess i wont bother with any details. However, there are these random bits of e-mail that perks the day up for me....

These 2 come from today....

1) WTBLD Noise and Smel
Please note that the smell experienced on the lower floors of the Wtbdg
should now have passed, works on the balcony of the 5th floor were the
causative agent.

The noise generated this morning has come from works in the single
passenger lift shaft and we are working to reduce further disruption

Apologies for any inconvenience caused

2) Building Works update
The Gene Therapy laboratory construction programme is now underway. Subject to other surveys the demolitions should commence on the 24/5/04 and last until at least the end of June 2004. The areas most likely to be most affected ( noise and vibration) during this period will be the Kitchens, Refectory, and other parts of the Lower Ground at the West End namely LG06, LG07, LG14 and LG19. It may also be possible that they may be some upwards transmission of vibration into the first floor Main Building.

The contractor will try to ensure a peaceful lunch time in the Refectory 12-2pm during this period .

I am actually rather tickeled by these e-mails and some of my collegues are as well...
