A really old knob that is used to wind the window of the old london buses. I am still quite intrigued about how it works. It seems to go around and around for so many rounds as the wondow slowly moves up ror down. I was unable to see any mechanism that controls the movement. Would be grateful if anyone could suggest how it seems to work. All the mechanical engineers out there?
